Peter Falcon
he/him
mental health therapist & mental performance coach
As both a competitive runner and mental health clinician, I understand the unique challenges athletes face in pursuit of their goals. Whether you're dealing with performance anxiety, recovering from injury, or navigating perfectionism, I'm here to help you develop the mental skills needed to thrive both in your sport and in life.
In our work together, I’ll create a welcoming and collaborative environment where we'll use strategies from mental health therapy and performance coaching to help you reach your goals. Sessions typically start by identifying what matters most to you and understanding the challenges you're facing. We'll explore how your thoughts and behaviors impact your performance and well-being. I'll teach you practical mindfulness techniques to stay present and focused, while using exposure-based strategies to help you face performance-related fears with confidence. Throughout our work, we'll regularly check in on your progress, adjust our approach as needed, and celebrate your wins - both big and small.
I specialize in working with endurance athletes, particularly runners and track athletes, though I've successfully helped athletes across many sports. As a former Division I athlete and current competitive marathoner (with a 2:19:51 PR), I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to our work together.
Each athlete and coach who works with me receives a unique link to a personalized wiki page, where I share podcasts, book recs, readings, journaling prompts, and other tools to help you in between sessions.
Peter will begin accepting clients February 18th!

I’ve always loved anything related to time travel. I really enjoy classics like Back to the Future, The Butterfly Effect, and The Time Machine, or diving into similar-themed books!
