Workshops and Presentations

Most presentations consists of 1-3 workshops where we target some of the most common sport psychology topics for sport (e.g., race day anxiety, team culture, goal setting, self-criticism & mental toughness, how to create a good relationship with the infamous pain cave). I also provide workshops for parents and coaches.

The Details

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I can present to middle and high school athletes, adult athletes of all levels, coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals.

  • Group size depends on the topic and the nature of the presentation. I’ve had some presentations for 2 people and others for 250+. If we want high engagement, groups of 15-20 usually work quite well, but we can certainly be flexible and work with your team or organization’s size.

  • Yes, absolutely. I’ll ask one team to serve as the primary contact, and that person can work behind-the-scenes to split costs with other parties.

  • 90% of the time, yes! If for any reason I think the presentation will be more impactful for athletes without the coach(es) present, I can mention that during our discovery call or during the scheduling process.

  • As long as we plan ahead, absolutely!

  • Yes, absolutely. If offered on Zoom, I can send a recording after the presentation. If offered in person, the primary contact for the presentation will be responsible for recording logistics.

  • I offer virtual and in person, depending on distance and preference. For in person presentations that take place 30+ miles outside of zip code 55443, an additional transportation cost will be added to the cost of the presentation. Skadi uses standard IRS mileage rates (65.5 cents per mile as of 2023).

  • The primary point of contact for the presentation will be responsible for securing a space. That said, I’ve successfully presented in classroom, auditoriums, gymnasiums, locker rooms, lacrosse fields, and more. I will work with the spaces we have available!

  • I typically don’t need AV equipment for presentations with middle school and high school athletes because I like to provide experiential activities to keep engagement high. For parents and coaches, it’s great to have slides because they’re often excited and ready to jot down notes, write down the names of resources I suggest, etc.
